Amid rumours about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Lopez may have discovered the ultimate power move.

Everyone has questions about what the heck is going on between Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, but Jennifer Lopez may have the best way to combat any rumors. The 55-year-old actress is putting her head down and going to work with a co-star who is apparently very happy to be working with her.
Lopez’s next project for Netflix is a rom-com with Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, who already revealed his crush on her in 2019. He gushed about her performance in Hustlers on his podcast, Films To Be Buried With. ‘It’s really good on every level,” Goldstein said. “F—king hell! 50! She’s 50! I love her!”
“After a very tough start to 2025, Jennifer can’t wait to start a new project and it certainly helps that she will be working with a very handsome and smart star like Brett,” the insider shared. “He is one hot ticket and a real class act with talent to back it up – he not only acts but he writes amazing scripts. He is like the younger, better, British version of Ben. She thinks he is very cute.”
Lopez is single, but Goldstein is not. He’s been dating comedian Beth Rylance for four years, and she might be a little worried about the onscreen pairing. Life & Style claimed in October 2024 that Rylance was on “high alert” because of “J. Lo’s famously flirtatious past.” The insider added, “Even though she’s been with Brett since 2021, she’s worried about the potential chemistry — given J. Lo’s history of turning co-stars into lovers!”
Still, J.Lo seems to be healing from her Affleck divorce because one Page Six source alleged that she’s “furious” about her ex’s cozy photos with Garner. But a second insider dismissed that rumor, adding, “I doubt she has even seen these stories as she is consumed with the film. She has been fully concentrating on her life, her growth, and her happiness.”
It sounds like Lopez only wants a romantic moment on-screen right now and her best revenge is delivering smoking-hot chemistry with Goldstein for Netflix.
