Following photos from Samuel’s 13th birthday party on March 2, where Affleck and Garner appeared friendly, an insider told People that Lopez “isn’t bothered” at all. “Jennifer Garner knows what it is and what it is not. People are reading into it to create drama where there is none,” the source added, emphasizing that Lopez doesn’t feel betrayed and that both women admire each other.

“There is no animosity. They are friendly,” another source explained. “We’re always pitting women against women, but in this case, it’s just not the truth.”

A separate insider noted that Affleck and Garner have been on good terms for a while. “They enjoy chatting and hanging out, often with their kids around,” they shared, adding that Affleck “usually acts happy around” Garner and that she “seems to enjoy spending time with him.”

On March 13, another source confirmed that Lopez and Garner communicate regularly. “Jennifer Garner reaches out to Jennifer Lopez about her kids, and vice versa. They have found a great female support system.”

Meanwhile, Lopez is focused on her career, filming the Netflix rom-com Office Romance with Brett Goldstein in New Jersey. A source speaking with Page Six on March 15 shut down rumors of any romantic reconciliation between Affleck and either of his ex-wives. “I’d say they’re both relieved to be done with him,” the insider claimed. “Ben’s an emotional roller coaster. He’s even been reaching out to Jennifer [Lopez] again recently.”

While Lopez was reportedly “devastated” last year, she has since moved forward. “Of course, it’s sad when someone reveals who they really are,” the source said. “She may have been hurt last year, but she’s risen above it. She puts her kids—and even his kids—first. She’s not some woman scorned or betrayed. He’s put out feelers to her recently, but she’s in a good place.”
