What You Don’t Know About Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown is in her next chapter. As the actress gets ready to say goodbye to Stranger Things, a show that the actress very much grew up on (she joined the cast aged just 12), she is feeling emotional but looking forward. “It’s been my whole life; I love that show so much. I love the character, the crew, and the cast,” she tells us, in the latest episode of our video franchise What You Don’t Know About Me.

Filming has already wrapped for the show, and she’s promoting her next project, Netflix’s The Electric State, a science fiction comedy directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, in which she co-stars with Chris Pratt, a man she describes as “the funniest person [she] know[s]”. Based on a graphic novel, the movie tells the story of a teenage girl (Brown) and her robot on a journey to find her long-lost brother and is, according to the actress, “a wild ride”.

In promoting the movie, Brown has been experimenting with her style and is enjoying having a good time on the red carpet. “Fashion is so fun—it is a way you’re able to express yourself, learn more about yourself, and, for me, I didn’t ever think I would be this playful and out there—[fashion is] a great reflection of where you are in your life.”

One of the most exciting red carpet moments she experienced on the tour was getting to wear Gywneth Paltrow’s dress, she says. The actress looked sensational in a sheer Giorgio Armani gown for the premiere in Madrid, wearing the exact dress that Paltrow wore to the 1998 New York City premiere of Shakespeare In Love.
