Jennifer Lopez reportedly has a “crush” on one of the stars of Yellowstone but his friendship with her ex-husband Ben Affleck makes things a little awkward.

Lopez is a longtime Yellowstone fan, a fact we learned from Affleck. Her love for the show even helped fuel dating rumors with Kevin Costner back in January. But now, Lopez reportedly has her sights set on another star of the show.

“Jennifer wants to be in love again,” a source told Daily Mail on March 21. “She had a crush on Rip Wheeler from Yellowstone and wants a guy like that who can have her back and ensure she is OK. She wants to be put first and made to feel special.”

“Her life is a lot; she needs a man who can handle all that and still love her unconditionally like the way Rip loves Beth Dutton.”

Cole Hauser, the actor who plays Rip Wheeler on the show, is a longtime friend of Affleck. The pair co-starred in the 1992 movie School Ties, and Affleck later cast Hauser in his Oscar-winning 1997 film Good Will Hunting.

That said, Lopez’s crush on Hauser is not news to Affleck, who joked about his then-wife’s interest in Yellowstone back in 2023. During an appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Affleck said that Lopez is “drawn to the romance between” Hauser’s character and Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton.
