Actress and musician Jennifer Lopez, 55, was legally declared single in February, roughly one month after she and actor Ben Affleck finalized their divorce on Jan. 6.

The divorce officially went into effect on Feb. 21, so now Lopez is truly available and able to have another shot at love.

While Affleck has been spotted with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and the two are reportedly spending more time together, Lopez, according to a new report, already has a “crush.”

“Jennifer wants to be in love again,” a source told the Daily Mail on Friday, March 21. “She had a crush on Rip Wheeler from Yellowstone and wants a guy like that, someone who can have her back and make sure she is OK. She wants to be put first and made to feel special.”

The source added, “Her life is a lot. She needs a man who can handle all that and still love her unconditionally like the way Rip loves Beth Dutton.”

According to Yahoo, Cole Hauser, the actor who portrays Rip Wheeler on the show, is buddies with Affleck. The two co-starred in the 1992 film School Ties, and Affleck also tapped Hauser to appear in the 1997 blockbuster film Good Will Hunting.

Perhaps Affleck isn’t surprised by Lopez’s reported “crush.” The actor joked about her interest in Yellowstone during a 2023 appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast, stating that his wife at the time was “drawn to the romance between” Hauser’s character and Kelly Reilly’s character, Beth Dutton.

An insider also told Page Six in a Friday, March 21 report that “Jennifer is ready to put herself out there again and she hasn’t given up on finding love. Her friends have encouraged her to date and she’s open to meeting someone new.”
