BTS’ Jimin Unveils His Inner World at NYC Exhibition: The Truth Untold

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Step into the heart and mind of BTS’ Jimin in a one-of-a-kind immersive exhibition that invites fans to uncover The Truth Untold — both his and their own.

The emotional and visually stunning experience, titled “The Truth Untold: 전하지 못한 진심” (translated: The Sincere Feelings Left Unsaid), opened on Saturday at 30 Wall Street in Manhattan’s Financial District. The limited-time exhibition offers a rare and intimate glimpse into the creative journey behind Jimin’s acclaimed solo albums Face and Muse.

A Journey of Self-Reflection and Sound

From the moment guests enter, they’re greeted not by art — but by their own reflection in a mirror, a symbolic start that mirrors the themes of vulnerability and self-confrontation that Jimin explores in Face. The darkened entrance quickly gives way to a vibrant, neon-lit labyrinth of rooms — each one recreating scenes from the artist’s music videos, including “Like Crazy” and “Who.”

As fans move through the space, they encounter never-before-seen behind-the-scenes clips, personal photos, dance rehearsals, and studio sessions that chronicle the intense emotional process Jimin went through in writing and producing his solo work.

One of the highlights is a series of pages from Jimin’s handwritten lyric notebook, giving visitors a direct look at raw, unpolished moments of his artistry. Songs like “Alone” and “Face Off” are broken down in fragments of lyrics and notes, revealing the vulnerable human side behind the polished performances.

A Letter to ARMY — and a Chance to Write Back

The exhibition concludes with a powerful tribute: a handwritten letter from Jimin to his fans, displayed next to some of his prestigious music awards — achievements he’s long credited to the unwavering support of ARMY. It’s a fitting close to an exhibition focused on gratitude, connection, and truth.

Before exiting, visitors are invited to leave their own heartfelt note to Jimin at the Smeraldo Garden, which features a breathtaking installation of a giant blue Smeraldo flower — a nod to BTS lore and the enduring bond between artist and fan. These messages will be sent directly to Jimin when the exhibit ends.
