I don’t know about you, but when I think of Scarlett Johansson, I picture one of two signature makeup looks: a bold, red lip like she wore the other day at a Jurassic World Rebirth press appearance in London (see above), or a superfresh face with barely-there makeup like we often see when she’s in The Outset mode.
But a monochromatic, dusty pink moment? I never saw it coming.
At the world premiere of the latest installment of the decades-long Jurassic Park franchise, Johansson looked entirely unprepared to defend herself against dinosaurs—and I mean that in the best way.
She brought the Old Hollywood glamour with deeply parted Veronica Lake waves styled by Renato Campora and—in stark contrast with co-star Jonathan Bailey, who wore a chambray shirt and a Friends baseball cap—she wore a strapless, sparkly, pale pink Vivienne Westwood gown.
The pink remained a theme with her makeup, though instead of sparkly, it was matte, and instead of a pale shade, it was a warm, dusty hue that found its way onto every feature.
Hung Vanngo, Johansson’s go-to makeup artist, gave her soft, gloss-free lips with a slightly peachy tint.
That hue carried over into her blush, and finally, her eyes were given a wash of pink with a subtle ombré effect from her lids to her brow bone and wrapping around her lower lash line as well.
