On June 21, Suga, aka Min Yoongi, completed his alternative military service as a social service agent, making BTS officially whole again.
The 32-year-old joins bandmates Jungkook, V, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, and RM ahead of their reunion.
The rapper announced his return through a Weverse note. Reports claim he is expected to make his first appearance as a civilian from the HYBE office through a live session.
Suga’s discharge was a tad different, as he did not exit his military base like his fellow bandmates. Hence, no press conferences or photo ops happened. That’s because he wasn’t stationed at a military headquarters but rather as a civil servant.

AP News reported that Suga effectively wrapped up his service on June 18 (Wednesday) by using his remaining vacation days. His official discharge followed on Saturday, completing the 21-month enlistment chapter of his life. Suga enlisted on September 22, 2023, as a social worker.
