‘Wreckage of You’ is one of the six new songs that Jennifer Lopez debuted during the covert L.A. fan show.
Jennifer Lopez is giving fans a peek at what she’s been working on.
On Wednesday, July 2, the Grammy-nominated singer invited 30 of her biggest Los Angeles-based fans for an exclusive listening party, PEOPE confirms.
The 55-year-old singer performed six new songs, including five upbeat tracks for the crowd: “Up All Night,” “Regular,” “Free,” “Save Me Tonight,” and “Birthday.” She also premiered one ballad, “Wreckage of You.”
“‘Wreckage of You’ is a pop ballad that she told us she co-wrote and recorded two weeks ago,” attendee Edgardo Luis Rivera told Us Weekly.

Rivera said that Lopez, who divorced Ben Affleck last year, said she “kept thinking of the word ‘wreck’ because it means destruction, but she wasn’t destroyed. The lyrics of the song are, ‘I’m stronger after the wreckage of you.’ ”
Along with treating the crowd to a few of her surprise songs, PEOPLE can confirm that she gifted the crowd tickets to her New Year’s Eve show in Las Vegas.
Attendees were also treated to swag bags containing T-shirts, signed posters, and JLo Beauty products.
PEOPLE reached out to Rivera for comment.
The actress and singer announced on Monday, May 26, that she is returning to Las Vegas with a new residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

“SURPRISE JLOVERS!” Lopez captioned a post on Instagram with a promo image of the tour. “We’re back! I’m doing a residency in Las Vegas!”
She continued: “Join me for Up All Night Live in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Dec 30 – Jan 3, & select dates in March! Tickets on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 AM PT. 🤍.”
