Colin Jost gets roasted on ‘SNL’ for making less money than wife Scarlett Johansson: ‘What a nightmare’

Colin Jost was roasted on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend for making less money than his megastar wife, Scarlett Johansson.

Cast member Mikey Day joined Jost, 42, at the “Weekend Update” desk as Lord Gaga, the fictional husband of the episode’s host and musical guest, Lady Gaga, and ridiculed the comedian’s marriage.

After Jost pointed out that Day’s “wife” is “very successful” with 14 Grammys and an Oscar, Day, 44, took a shot at Jost’s salary compared to his wife’s.

“Can you imagine, Colin, a man whose wife makes more money than he?” Day said as the audience in Studio 8H laughed. “Can you imagine? Oh, the shame he would feel!”

“Oh, I would die! What a living nightmare! What a nightmare!” Day said as the audience cheered.
Day added, “Oh, I’m sorry. Now tell me, what does your wife do?” at the end of the sketch.

Jost and Johansson, 40, met when the Marvel actress hosted an episode of “SNL.” Jost has worked on the sketch comedy show since 2005.
The couple got married in 2020 and welcomed their son, Cosmo, in August 2021.

Jost’s net worth is estimated at around $10 million, while Johansson is reportedly worth over $165 million.
