Ben Affleck enjoyed some guy time with his longtime pal Matt Damon at the SXSW Film & TV Festival over the weekend, weeks after he and ex-wife Jennifer Lopez were declared legally single.

On Saturday, March 8, Damon supported Affleck at the premiere of his new film The Accountant 2, which debuted at the Austin, Texas, festival.

In photos obtained by TMZ, Affleck,52, and Damon, 54, were seen chatting it up inside The Paramount Theatre. The Argo star wore a gray suit with a beige overcoat and completed the look with a pair of brown shoes that subtly matched his tie.

Prior to the film showing, Affleck walked the red carpet and posed for photos with Damon as well as actor Jon Bernthal, who also stars in The Accountant 2. While chatting with premieregoers, Affleck revealed that he learned to line dance for the film.

“For me, the challenge, of course, was the months and months I spent training to line dance,” he told the audience, getting a laugh, per Entertainment Weekly. “It was a stunt for me. Tom Cruise has nothing on me!… Just in terms of line dancing,” he joked.

Before taking his seat, Affleck was greeted by a few attendees, including Shark Tank star Mark Cuban, according to a video posted by TMZ.

Affleck’s time at SXSW comes less than one month after a judge overseeing his divorce case declared both he and his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, officially single. Lopez, who married Affleck in 2022, initially filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. In January, People magazine confirmed that the divorce was finalized.
