Suga, a member of BTS, is once again in the top 10 on a Billboard chart.

BTS singer and rapper Suga has not been focused on his solo music career for a while now. Like several of his bandmates, he is currently enlisted in the South Korean military as he’s fulfilling his mandatory service, which is a must for all men by a certain age.
While he hasn’t released anything new since 2023, fans of the superstar bring him back to one Billboard chart this week, as they collectively return to a favorite—one that seemingly never earned its moment in the spotlight.
The tune was released not under Suga’s name but under the moniker Agust D. Unlike his BTS friends, Suga doesn’t use the same alter ego when sharing music as one of seven in the group as he does when he’s out on his own. Instead, he created another name, which he oftentimes turns to when dropping songs and projects as a soloist.
“Moonlight” has now spent two weeks on the World Digital Song Sales chart. It debuted and peaked at No. 5 years ago and is now back for just the second time since launching. “Moonlight” was never chosen as a single by Suga, and yet fans are still loving it nearly five years after it was originally released. The track opened his solo mixtape D-2, which was shared under the Agust D moniker.
